Day 1 :
Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Shillong

Arrive at Guwahati and meet your driver at the airport or railway station. From Guwahati, begin your scenic drive to Shillong. En route, enjoy the picturesque views of the rolling hills and lush greenery. On arrival in Shillong, check in at your hotel. After freshening up, explore Shillong’s local markets or take a leisurely stroll around Police Bazaar. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 2 :
Exploring Shillong

In the morning after breakfast, embark on a day of sightseeing in and around Shillong. Visit the beautiful Umiam Lake for a peaceful morning, followed by the stunning Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak, offering panoramic views of the city. Later, explore the Don Bosco Museum, showcasing the rich heritage of Northeast India. Return to your hotel in Shillong for the night.
Umiam Lake:
Located about 15 km from Shillong, Umiam Lake is a serene reservoir surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills. Known as the "Lake of Tears," it was formed by the damming of the Umiam River and is popular for water sports, boating, and picnicking. The scenic beauty, especially during sunrise and sunset, makes it a must-visit spot for nature lovers.
Elephant Falls:
Situated around 12 km from Shillong, Elephant Falls is a stunning three-tiered waterfall cascading down rocky cliffs. Named after an elephant-shaped rock formation (which eroded over time), it’s a favourite for photography and nature enthusiasts. The cool, misty environment and the sound of gushing water create a refreshing escape into nature.
Day 3 :
Shillong to Mawlynnong

In the morning after breakfast, check out from your Shillong hotel and drive to Mawlynnong, known as Asia’s cleanest village. Explore the village’s scenic beauty, the famous Living Root Bridges, and the Sky View Point for breathtaking views of Bangladesh. Enjoy a traditional Khasi lunch in the village. In the evening, check back into your hotel, and Overnight stay in Mawlynnong.
Living Root Bridges:
Found in Mawlynnong and Cherrapunjee, the Living Root Bridges are remarkable examples of natural engineering. Created by weaving the roots of rubber trees across rivers and streams, these bridges have been cultivated over years by the indigenous Khasi people. They’re strong, eco-friendly, and offer a unique, picturesque experience, perfect for trekking and nature walks.
Sky View Point:
The Sky View Point in Mawlynnong offers breathtaking panoramic views of the lush green hills, valleys, and even distant views of Bangladesh on clear days. It’s an ideal spot to capture stunning photographs, especially during sunrise and sunset when the landscape is bathed in golden hues. The peaceful surroundings make it a serene escape into nature.
Day 4 :
Shillong to Guwahati

In the morning after breakfast, check out from your Mawlynnong hotel and head back to Guwahati. Upon arrival, check into your hotel in Guwahati. Later, visit the Kamakhya Temple, one of the most revered temples in India, and enjoy a peaceful evening by the Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Kamakhya Temple:
Located on the Nilachal Hill in Guwahati, the Kamakhya Temple is one of the most revered Shakti Peethas in India. Dedicated to the goddess Kamakhya, a manifestation of the divine feminine energy, the temple is an architectural marvel with intricate carvings and a unique square-shaped sanctum. It holds immense religious significance, especially during the Ambubachi Mela, a festival celebrating the goddess’s annual menstruation cycle.
Day 5 :
Guwahati Sightseeing & Departure
Guwahati
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Assam State Museum or enjoy a river cruise on the Brahmaputra (if time permits). Depending on your departure time, you can also explore local markets for souvenirs. Finally, check out from your hotel and proceed to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.

Our offer is based on the usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise). If this category of rooms is not available, we shall try to confirm accommodation in the next available higher category of rooms and shall advise supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.
🍽️ MEALS:
The menus are pre-set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation.
In standard/Budget category of hotels, the meals preferences are veg meals unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are a mixture of veg and non-veg preferences.
Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.
📅 ITINERARY CHANGES:
For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In the event a guest misses any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on their part, they will not be entitled to claim a refund of the same.
The timings mentioned in the day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits en route, meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests, and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.
🚌 TRANSPORT:
We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire Innova/Crysta/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day, etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case any of the sightseeing schedules are missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances.
Please note that AC will not work in Hills and no claims to this regard shall be entertained.
💳Payment Terms And Methods:
• Deposit of 35% of the package cost at the time of booking.
•Need 50% payment of the package cost, 30 days prior to departure date
•Need 100% payment of the package cost, 15 days prior to departure date
🔄Cancellation AndRefund Policy:
•25% of full tour cost - 60 days prior to arrival.
•50% of full tour cost - between 30 days prior to tour.
•75% of full tour cost - between 29 & 16 days prior to tour
•100% - within 15 days prior to tour.
•50% advance to be deposited at the time of booking confirmation.
•Balance 50% before 15 days from the Tour Starts.
•Check In / Check out time at all the properties would at 1200 hrs (Noon)
