Day 1 :
Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Shillong

Upon arrival in Guwahati, you will proceed towards Shillong, a scenic drive of approximately 3-4 hours. En route, take a refreshing break at Umiam Lake, a stunning reservoir surrounded by lush hills. Upon reaching Shillong, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, explore the vibrant Police Bazaar, known for its local handicrafts, street food, and shopping. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Umiam Lake:
A scenic man-made lake near Shillong, Umiam Lake was created as part of a hydroelectric project. Surrounded by green hills, it is a popular spot for boating, kayaking, and picnics. The lake’s calm waters reflect the sky, making it a perfect place for photography and relaxation. There is also a viewpoint nearby that offers stunning panoramic views of the lake and its surroundings.
Day 2 :
Shillong Sightseeing

Early in the morning, after breakfast, begin your Shillong sightseeing tour with a visit to Shillong Peak, offering panoramic views of the entire city. Next, head to Elephant Falls, a multi-tiered waterfall surrounded by greenery. Visit the Don Bosco Museum, which showcases the rich culture of Northeast India, and then proceed to Ward’s Lake for a peaceful stroll. Explore the beautiful Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, known for its serene ambiance. If time permits, take an optional trip to Laitlum Canyons for a breathtaking sunset view. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Shillong.
Elephant Falls:
One of Shillong’s most famous waterfalls, Elephant Falls is a three-tiered cascade surrounded by dense forests. It was named after a rock resembling an elephant, which was later destroyed by an earthquake. Visitors can walk down the well-maintained steps to enjoy different views of the falls. The best time to visit is during the monsoon when the waterfall is at its fullest and most spectacular.
Don Bosco Museum:
A cultural museum in Shillong, Don Bosco Museum showcases the rich traditions and heritage of Northeast India. Early in the morning, after breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong, known as the cleanest village in Asia. Walk through the picturesque village, visit the Living Root Bridge, and witness the fascinating Balancing Rock. Continue your journey to Dawki, a small town on the India-Bangladesh border, famous for the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River. Enjoy a boat ride and soak in the mesmerizing views. After a full day of exploration, return to Shillong and unwind at your hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Living Root Bridge:
A natural marvel in Meghalaya, Living Root Bridges are formed by weaving the aerial roots of rubber trees over many years. These bridges are strong, eco-friendly, and can last for centuries. The most famous one is in Mawlynnong, known as Asia’s cleanest village. Walking on these bridges provides a unique experience of blending nature with human ingenuity.
Umngot River:
Located in Dawki, the Umngot River is famous for its crystal-clear waters, where boats appear to float on air. It flows along the India-Bangladesh border and offers a unique boating experience. Day 4 :
Shillong – Guwahati

Early in the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Guwahati. If you missed Laitlum Canyons earlier, you can visit it before leaving Shillong. Upon arrival in Guwahati, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, you may explore local markets or enjoy a sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River for a serene experience. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Laitlum Canyons:
A breathtaking viewpoint in Meghalaya, Laitlum Canyons offers stunning views of deep gorges and rolling hills. It is a peaceful spot, ideal for trekking and capturing panoramic landscapes. The best time to visit is during sunrise or sunset for spectacular views. The area remains covered in mist during certain seasons, adding to its mystical charm.
Day 5 :
Guwahati Sightseeing & Departure
Guwahati
Early in the morning, after breakfast, visit the revered Kamakhya Temple, one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in India. Continue to Umananda Temple, situated on the Peacock Island in the middle of the Brahmaputra River. Later, check out from your hotel and proceed to the airport or railway station for your departure, concluding your memorable journey.

Our offer is based on the usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise). If this category of rooms is not available, we shall try to confirm accommodation in the next available higher category of rooms and shall advise supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.
🍽️ MEALS:
The menus are pre-set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation.
In standard/Budget category of hotels, the meals preferences are veg meals unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are a mixture of veg and non-veg preferences.
Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.
📅 ITINERARY CHANGES:
For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In the event a guest misses any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on their part, they will not be entitled to claim a refund of the same.
The timings mentioned in the day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits en route, meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests, and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.
🚌 TRANSPORT:
We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire Innova/Crysta/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day, etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case any of the sightseeing schedules are missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances.
Please note that AC will not work in Hills and no claims to this regard shall be entertained.

•25% of full tour cost - 60 days prior to arrival.
•50% of full tour cost - between 30 days prior to tour.
•75% of full tour cost - between 29 & 16 days prior to tour
•100% - within 15 days prior to tour.
•50% advance to be deposited at the time of booking confirmation.
•Balance 50% before 15 days from the Tour Starts.
