From there, you'll be transferred to Bhalukpong, a place that straddles the border between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Prepare to be mesmerized by the scenic beauty and the adventure that awaits you along the sparkling river Jia Bharali. Bhalukpong is also home to the Nameri National Park, a sanctuary for wildlife enthusiasts. Your overnight stay will be at Bhalukpong, setting the stage for your upcoming explorations.
Bhalukpong:
Apart from being the nature lover's paradise, Bhalukpong can provide you a complete experience with wildlife and a host of activities complimenting its natural beauty and the environment of a place lesser known The Kameng River running in the forest surrounding it makes the town even more attractive. In Bhalukpong you'll find yourself making the most of hiking, trekking, camping and fishing. The Pakhui game sanctuary can be visited to see birds as exotic as the place itself, along with tigers, elephants, barking dear and more.
After a hearty breakfast, we'll continue our journey to Dirang. Along the way, we'll stop at Tippi, where you'll discover an orchidarium housing over 7500 orchids, including unique species like the Dainty Lady's Slipper. Arunachal is renowned for its orchids, and this is your chance to see them up close. The drive itself is a visual treat, with waterfalls and spectacular views. Upon reaching Dirang, check-in at your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.

Situated on the journey between Tawang and Bomdila in Arunachal Pradesh, Dirang, which was once an overlooked quaint hamlet, has evolved into a beautiful little town for its scenic setting and bucolic charm. Set along the banks of the Dirang River, it is famous for its hot water springs, which are holy and considered to be of a healing nature. Enjoying pleasant weather throughout the year, Dirang is best visited in the early winters for some migratory bird watching and to watch the fruit orchards bloom.
Your day will start with a visit to the Kiwi & Apple Gardens, offering a delightful experience amidst the scenic Dirang valley, home to vibrant tribes. Then, we'll ascend to the majestic Sela Pass at 13,703 feet, where you can spend quality time by the serene paradise lake. As you continue your journey, Tawang, our next destination, beckons with its enchanting charm. After a 7-hour drive, check-in at your hotel in Tawang and relax for the night.
Post breakfast, get ready to explore Tawang's gems. You'll visit Maduri Lake, known locally as PT SO, and the famous Bumla Pass, which is at the border with China. Pay your respects at the War Memorial and, in the evening, enjoy leisure time for shopping or relaxation. Your night will be spent in Tawang. ***Separate local vehicle (Sumo / Bolero) would be used.

Renowned for being the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, Tsangyang Gyatso, its breathtaking landscapes, including snow-capped peaks, alpine meadows, and pristine lakes offers visitors a serene retreat amidst the tranquility of nature. The key reason to visit Tawang lies in its cultural and historical significance, as it is home to the iconic Tawang Monastery, one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in the world, which dates back to the 17th century.
Another day of discovery awaits. After breakfast, visit the Tawang Monastery, Namgye Lhaste, Gorsham Chorten, Gontse Garden, and Singar Ani Gompa. These attractions will immerse you in the local culture and spirituality. In the evening, return to your hotel for a peaceful night's rest.
Tawang:
The journey to Tawang is an adventure in itself, with the scenic drive along winding mountain roads offering panoramic views of the Himalayan range. On arrival, visit the Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa), Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa), and Bomdila View Point, where you'll be treated to panoramic views of the Himalayan landscapes. The local market in Bomdila is perfect for souvenirs. Spend the night in Bomdila.
Bomdila:
With majestic Himalayas bestowing their shadow, the beautiful town of Bomdila will offer you all an area in this terrain should. Other than sceneries and views making the area a visual treat for the eyes, wrapped around in a cool breeze and pleasant climate, the area will offer you a number of spots such as temples and wildlife sanctuaries. Both Buddhist and Hindu temples are to be found here. Some of the other places to be visited include a number apple orchards and The Eagle Nest Wildlife Sanctuary, which is just a little away. The visitors can also indulge into the arts and crafts popular in the area, as well as trekking and hiking complimented by the terrain. The proximity to the Himalayas can offer sights capable of casting spells on the viewer.
Prepare to leave Bomdila early in the morning and head back to Guwahati. In the evening, enjoy a serene cruise on the Brahmaputra River, making memories that will last a lifetime. Your overnight stay will be in Guwahati.

Sandwiched by the river Brahmaputra on one side and the Shillong Plateau on the other, this city was formerly known as Pragjyotishpura. After a scrumptious breakfast, we'll travel from Guwahati to Shillong. Along the way, we'll visit the mesmerizing Umiam Lake, where you can capture stunning photographs. Your overnight stay awaits in Shillong.
Shillong:
One of the city's prominent attractions is Umiam Lake, a sprawling reservoir surrounded by hills that offer a serene escape. The tranquility of the Elephant Falls, cascading gracefully amidst lush greenery, adds to Shillong's natural allure. For those seeking adventure, the Laitlum Canyons unveil breathtaking panoramic views, making it a must-visit for trekking enthusiasts.
Today, after breakfast, we'll take you to witness the awe-inspiring Nohkalikai Falls, explore the enchanting Mawsmai Cave, and marvel at the Seven Sisters' Falls and Shillong Peak. Then, we'll continue to Cherapunjee, where you'll spend the night.
Mawsmai Cave, Cherrapunji:
Meghalaya is home to some amazing and mysterious cave systems and Mawsmai Cave is by far the most popular of the lot. Located just 6 km away from the heart of Cherrapunjee Mawsmai cave is a breathtaking maze of caves in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya. The well lit caves are a view to behold when the glistening lights meet with the limestone to create countless hues and patterns of light.
On your last full day, savor the beauty of the Lady Hydari Park, visit the All Saints Church, explore the Shillong Golf Links, and delve into the rich cultural heritage at the Don Bosco Museum. As the day draws to a close, we'll transfer you back to Guwahati, where you'll spend your last night.
