Day 1 :
Arrival in Guwahati – Sightseeing

Upon arrival in Guwahati, check-in to your hotel. Begin your exploration with a visit to the Kamakhya Temple, one of the holiest Shakti Peethas. In the afternoon, enjoy a serene cruise on the Brahmaputra River, followed by a visit to Umananda Temple located on Peacock Island. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Guwahati.
Kamakhya Temple:
Kamakhya Temple is a revered Hindu shrine situated atop Nilachal Hill in Guwahati, Assam. Dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya, it is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and serves as a significant center for Tantric practices. The temple is renowned for the annual Ambubachi Mela, which celebrates the goddess's menstruation, symbolizing fertility and the power of creation. Its distinctive architecture features a hybrid style known as Nilachal, developed between the 8th and 17th centuries.
Umananda Temple:

Barpeta Satra is a prominent Vaishnavite monastery located in Barpeta, Assam, established in 1583 AD by the saint Madhabdev. Known as the 'Kirtanghar,' it serves as a significant center for Assamese culture and spirituality. Bogamati:

Early in the morning, after breakfast, check out from your Guwahati hotel and drive to Tezpur. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Visit Agnigarh Hill, associated with Hindu mythology, and explore Cole Park along with nearby historical ruins. Overnight stay in Tezpur.
Agnigarh Hill:
Agnigarh Hill is a historic hillock located in Tezpur, Assam, on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. According to Hindu mythology, it was the fortress where the asura king Banasura confined his daughter, Usha, to prevent her union with Aniruddha, the grandson of Lord Krishna. The name "Agnigarh" is derived from the Sanskrit words 'Agni' (fire) and 'garh' (fortress), indicating a fortress surrounded by perpetual fire to deter intruders. Today, Agnigarh Hill has been developed into a scenic park featuring sculptures that depict the legendary tale of Usha and Aniruddha. Visitors can ascend a circular stairway to the hill's summit, which offers panoramic views of the Brahmaputra River and the town of Tezpur.

Silghat:
Silghat is a picturesque town located on the southern bank of the Brahmaputra River in Assam's Nagaon district. It serves as a significant river port, featuring the Assam Co-operative Jute Mill Ltd., established in 1970 as the only jute mill in India's cooperative sector. The town is also renowned for its ancient temples, including the 2000-year-old Trishuldhari Shiva Mandir, believed to grant devotees' wishes and offer prosperity. Additionally, Silghat's scenic beauty, with its riverine landscapes and nearby hillocks like Samantagiri, makes it a favored destination for nature lovers and photographers.
Nagaon:
Nagaon, centrally located in Assam, India, is a city with a rich historical and cultural heritage. Situated on the banks of the Kolong River, a tributary of the Brahmaputra, Nagaon has been a significant center since ancient times, with its history intertwined with the ancient kingdom of Kamarupa and later under the rule of various dynasties including the Kacharis and the Ahoms. The district is renowned as the birthplace of Srimanta Sankardev, the 15th-century saint and cultural icon who laid the foundation of Assamese culture and the Vaishnavism movement.
Day 6 :
Departure from Guwahati

Early in the morning, after breakfast, checking out from your hotel, proceed to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.

Our offer is based on the usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise). If this category of rooms is not available, we shall try to confirm accommodation in the next available higher category of rooms and shall advise supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.
🍽️ MEALS:
The menus are pre-set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation.
In standard/Budget category of hotels, the meals preferences are veg meals unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are a mixture of veg and non-veg preferences.
Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.
📅 ITINERARY CHANGES:
For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In the event a guest misses any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on their part, they will not be entitled to claim a refund of the same.
The timings mentioned in the day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits en route, meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests, and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.
🚌 TRANSPORT:
We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire Innova/Crysta/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day, etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case any of the sightseeing schedules are missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances.
Please note that AC will not work in Hills and no claims to this regard shall be entertained.
