Day 1 :
Arrival in Guwahati and Transfer to Shillong
Shillong
Arrive at Guwahati Airport and transfer to Shillong, a scenic hill station known as the "Scotland of the East." The drive takes approximately 3–4 hours, passing through picturesque landscapes. After check-in, you can spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the cool weather of Shillong. If time permits, visit Ward's Lake or the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures. Return back to your hotel and Overnight stay in Shillong.
Ward's Lake:
Ward's Lake is a picturesque artificial lake located in the heart of Shillong, Meghalaya. It was constructed in 1894 by the then Chief Commissioner of Assam, Sir William Ward, after whom the lake is named. The lake is surrounded by well-maintained gardens and a charming wooden bridge that offers a perfect view of the lake and the surrounding landscapes. Visitors can enjoy boating on the lake or simply relax by its peaceful surroundings. Day 2 :
Shillong – Waterfall Rappelling

With safety instructions and gear provided, experience the thrill of rappelling in the lush greenery surrounding the waterfalls. In the evening, you can explore local markets or indulge in a traditional Meghalaya meal. Return back to your hotel and Overnight stay in Shillong.
Elephant Falls:
Elephant Falls is one of the most famous natural attractions near Shillong, Meghalaya. Located about 12 kilometers from the city, the falls consist of three cascading waterfalls, surrounded by lush greenery and rocks. The name "Elephant Falls" was given by the British due to a rock near the falls that resembled an elephant, though the rock has since eroded. The falls are a popular spot for visitors, offering a serene and picturesque setting. Day 3 :
Shillong to Cherrapunji (Sohra)

In the morning after breakfast check-out from your hotel and drive to Cherrapunji (Sohra), which is famous for its living root bridges and stunning natural beauty. Once you arrive, check in at your accommodation and then head out for a trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat Village, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The trek is scenic and offers a chance to explore the region's biodiversity. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Cherrapunji in the evening. Return back to your hotel and Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
Living Root Bridge:
The Living Root Bridge is a unique and remarkable natural bridge found in the Meghalaya region, particularly around Cherrapunji and Nongriat Village. These bridges are made by training the roots of rubber trees (Ficus elastica) to grow across streams and rivers, a process that takes several decades. The Khasi and Jaintia tribes of Meghalaya have been constructing these bridges for centuries by guiding the roots through hollowed-out betel nut trunks to create sturdy and functional structures.
Day 4 :
Cherrapunji – Explore Living Root Bridges and Caves

In the morning after breakfast ,if you haven’t yet explored enough, visit the Single Decker Living Root Bridge or take a walk around Mawlynnong Village, known as the cleanest village in Asia. In the afternoon, visit the Mawsmai Cave, a natural limestone cave easily accessible from Cherrapunji. In the evening, return to your accommodation to relax or continue exploring the village. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Mawsmai Cave is a popular natural limestone cave located in Cherrapunji, Meghalaya. It is one of the most visited caves in the region due to its accessibility and fascinating rock formations. Day 5 :
Cherrapunji to Mawsynram and Caving Adventures

In the morning after breakfast check-out from your hotel and drive to Mawsynram, which is about 1.5 hours away. Known for receiving the highest rainfall in India, Mawsynram is also home to fascinating caves. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation, then embark on a caving adventure in Sohsarat Caves or Mawsynram Caves, exploring their unique rock formations. After the thrilling caving experience, return to your accommodation and unwind. Overnight stay in Mawsynram.

Mawsynram Caves are a series of natural caves located in the village of Mawsynram, which is known for being one of the wettest places on Earth. These caves are relatively less explored compared to other caves in Meghalaya but are an intriguing part of the region's natural heritage. The caves feature unique limestone formations, including stalactites and stalagmites, and are a great spot for caving enthusiasts and adventure seekers. The caves in Mawsynram are not only famous for their geological wonders but also for the cool, moist environment created by the region's heavy rainfall.
Day 6 :
Mawsynram to Guwahati
Mawsynram
In the morning after breakfast, drive back to Guwahati. In the afternoon, visit the Kamakhya Temple or enjoy a scenic boat ride on the Brahmaputra River if time permits. Afterward, you can relax at the hotel or shop for souvenirs before heading to the airport. Transfer to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey.

Our offer is based on the usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise). If this category of rooms is not available, we shall try to confirm accommodation in the next available higher category of rooms and shall advise supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.
🍽️ MEALS:
The menus are pre-set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation.
In standard/Budget category of hotels, the meals preferences are veg meals unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are a mixture of veg and non-veg preferences.
Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.
📅 ITINERARY CHANGES:
For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In the event a guest misses any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on their part, they will not be entitled to claim a refund of the same.
The timings mentioned in the day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits en route, meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests, and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.
🚌 TRANSPORT:
We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire Innova/Crysta/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day, etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case any of the sightseeing schedules are missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances.
Please note that AC will not work in Hills and no claims to this regard shall be entertained.

🔄Cancellation AndRefund Policy:
•25% of full tour cost - 60 days prior to arrival.
•50% of full tour cost - between 30 days prior to tour.
•75% of full tour cost - between 29 & 16 days prior to tour
•100% - within 15 days prior to tour.
•50% advance to be deposited at the time of booking confirmation.
•Balance 50% before 15 days from the Tour Starts.
