In 1979, Boudhanath Stupa was honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Boudhanath Stupa has acquired several names throughout the years, including the Buddha Stupa, Chorten Chempo, Chaitya, Jarung Khashor, and the Khasti. The entire complex of the stupa houses 50 Tibetan convents, known as gompas, which have been acting as shelters for Tibetan refugees since 1959. This stupa is said to be the spot where the remains of Kassapa Buddha lay at rest. Thousands of pilgrims from different religions gather here daily. They perform a ritualistic circumnavigation, known as the 'kora', of the colossal dome.

The name Manakamana originates from two words, “mana” which means heart and “kamana” which means wish. It is believed that if anyone makes a wish by their heart here then their wish will be fulfilled.
Manakamana as explained by ancient history on 17th century is a reincarnation of the then queen of Gorkha. The queen possessed divine powers-a fact known only to Lakhan Thapa, her devotee. One day, when the king discovered that the queen was a Goddess, he suddenly died. It is said that a farmer found a stone while digging his field from which milk and blood is said to have poured into the ground. The flow ceased when Lakhan Thapa worshipped the stone with tantric rituals.

Devi's fall:
Devi's fall in Pokhara is an extraordinary waterfall which creates a 500 feet long underground tunnel as it reaches its bottom. This tunnel has brought the fall its name, i.e. Patale Chango in the Nepalese language, which means "underground waterfall." Fed by Phewa Lake Dam, the waterfall is surrounded by abundant flora. A landmark of Pokhara, Devi's waterfall is a must-visit when in Nepal. Witness the grandeur of nature as you see this colossal fall struggling with rocks to set itself free.
Devi's Waterfall/ Davis Waterfall is different from other falls in the country due to its natural phenomenon. It marks the point where the Pardi Khola stream disappears underground and leaves no clue of its existence. When the monsoons are at full power, the splashes of water against the boulders create a terrific site.
Tal Barahi Temple:
Tal Barahi Temple, also known as Lake Temple or Varahi Temple, is a two-story pagoda temple on a small Phewa Lake island. Dedicated to Goddess Varahi, who is an incarnation of Goddess Durga, both Hindu and Buddhist followers visit here for worship. It is believed that the temple was built by King Kulmandhan Shah because of a dream that he saw.
Goddess Varahi is an avatar of Goddess Durga who is believed to be the symbol of strength (Shakti).Varahi or Barahi means 'Boar' in Nepalese. It is a form which was taken by Goddess Durga to kill the destructive demons. She is believed to have fought the mighty demons with her tusks and killed them all. After the fight, she is believed to have visited the Pokhara Valley and found it so enticing that she wanted to stay there. Ever since, this powerful form of Goddess Durga has been an important deity for the Hindu community in Nepal.

Also referred to as the Swayambhunath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, and the Swayambhu Maha Chaitya, this holy place of worship has been in existence for several centuries and has overlooked the greater portion of the Kathmandu Valley ever since.
