Arrive and check in to the hotel. Afternoon visit Meenakshi Amman Temple, a magnificent Hindu temple. Evening explore the historical Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the Madurai market.
Meenakshi Amman Temple:
The historic Meenakshi Amman temple is located on the southern bank of the Vaigai River, Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Built sometime between the year 1623 and 1655, the wonderful architecture of the place is renowned globally. Meenakshi Temple is primarily dedicated to Parvati, known as Meenakshi, and her spouse, Shiva. What makes this temple different from the others is the fact that both God and Goddess are worshipped together.
Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace:
Thirumalai Nayakar Palace was erected in 1636 AD in the city of Madurai, by King Thirumalai Nayak. The palace depicts the perfect blend of Dravidian and Rajput styles. After Independence, this palace was declared as a national monument and till date continues to be one of the spectacular monuments of Southern India. The magnificent palace is located in the vicinity of the very famous Meenakshi Amman Temple. Depicting the Saracenic style of architecture, it was constructed during the rule of Nayak Dynasty and is widely considered as the most illustrious monument built by the Madurai Nayak Dynasty.

Morning drive from Madurai to Rameswaram (approx. 3 hours). Afternoon visit Ramanathaswamy Temple and take a holy dip in Agni Theertham. Evening experience the mesmerizing beauty of Dhanushkodi Beach. Overnight at Rameswaram.
Ramanathaswamy Temple:
A perfect blend of mind-boggling architecture and spiritual significance, Rameshwaram Temple, also known as Ramanathaswamy Temple of Tamil Nadu is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It also boasts of being one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples of India. Not just spiritually, Rameshwaram Temple is appealing architecturally also. With the longest corridor of the world and immaculate carvings on pillars, it is definitely a treat for your eyes. The lingam in the Rameshwaram Temple was installed by Lord Rama but, the construction was led by several rulers over the centuries. Inside the temple, there are two lingams- Ramalingam and Shivalingam. The latter is still worshipped first to preserve the words of Lord Rama. Besides daily Abhishkams and poojas performed with great zeal, there are absorbing festivals worth witnessing.
Agni Theertham:
One of the 64 sacred baths in Rameshwaram, the Agnitheertham is one of the most important theertham and receives a large number of tourists each day. Located on the beach side of Sri Ramanathaswamy temple, Agnitheertham is the only theertham sited outside the temple complex. In the Sanskrit language, the word agni means fire; while the word theertham means holy water. Agnitheertham has been mentioned several times in the ancient texts and mythological legends as a pilgrimage of significant importance among the Hindus. The devotees visiting the theertham offer their prayers to the deity and atone their sins by taking a dip in the holy waters.
Dhanushkodi Beach:
The Dhanushkodi Beach is one of the few major attractions this quaint town has to offer. The white sand beach is mostly deserted. So you can enjoy a silent walk on the beach, without worrying about disturbances from a large crowd of beach goers. To add to that, every now and then, you will spot someone or the other selling eatables. To sum up, this beach experience is one that you will remember.

Spend the day exploring more of Rameswaram's attractions, such as the Five-faced Hanuman Temple and Adam's Bridge. Visit the Abdul Kalam Memorial, dedicated to India's former President and renowned scientist, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Night explore the local cuisine and relax in Rameswaram and Overnight stay in Rameswaram.
Adam's Bridge:
Adam's Bridge, a natural bridge that connects India with its neighbouring country Sri Lanka, is set amidst a gorgeous setting of raw nature that can leave anyone awe inspired by its beauty. The 50 kilometres long and 3-kilometre wide bridge starts as a chain of shoals from Dhanushkodi (tip of India's Pamban Bridge) and ends at Sri Lanka's Mannar Island. Adam's Bridge, also known as Rama's Bridge or Rama Setu, is considered as a legendary bridge which is mainly a chain of coral reefs and sandbanks. This mythical bridge has a lot of controversies associated regarding its origin and structure. The place offers a very relaxed aura and is a blissful experience for the travellers.
Five-faced Hanuman Temple:
Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple is a five-faced Hanuman Temple, is situated at a distance of 2 km from Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple. It is said that Lord had revealed his five faces here, hence the idol of Hanuman is depicted with five faces which are of Lord Hanuman in the middle along with faces of Lord Narasimha, Lord Adivaraha, Lord Garuda and Lord Hayagriva on the sides. The statue has been covered with senthooram by saints. In 1964, after the cyclone in Dhanuskhodi, the idols of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita was brought to this temple and placed here. Also known as Panchamukha Anjaneya, Panchamukha Hanuman Temple is visited by almost every devotees who come for a Rameshwaram Tour.

Check out from your hotel in Rameswaram and travel to Kanyakumari (Approx. 6 hours). Visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue, located in the middle of the sea. Explore the Kanyakumari Temple and enjoy the beautiful sunset at the Kanyakumari Beach. Overnight stay in Kanyakumari.
Vivekananda Rock Memorial:
The magnificent Vivekananda Rock Memorial is located on a small island off Kanyakumari. It has the picturesque Indian Ocean in its backdrop. It is situated on one of the two adjacent rocks projecting out of the Lakshadweep Sea and comprises of the 'Shripada Mandapam' and the 'Vivekananda Mandapam'.Vivekananda Rock Memorial is located at about 500 meters east of the mainland of Vavathurai in Kanyakumari and can be accessed by regular ferries. This statue was built in the year 1970 on the island situated in Vavathurai, built on the site where Vivekananda attained enlightenment. The Shripada Mandapam has a study hall and a museum, where you can explore Vivekananda's life and work in depth.
Kanyakumari Beach:
Located in the southernmost part of India, Kanyakumari beach with its beautiful hue-changing beaches, the confluence of three water bodies: Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean, and the Arabian Sea. Miraculously, here you can see that the water of three seas does not mix, you can distinguish between the turquoise blue, deep blue, and sea green waters of the three seas, though the colors keep changing with the season and the day's weather. The beach is not conducive to swim or surf as the water as the sea is rough and the beach is rocky.To enjoy the best view, you can visit the Triveni Sangam point and climb up the famous lighthouse watchtower to entirely take in its beauty.

Kovalam

Check out from your hotel in Kanyakumari and travel to Kovalam. Enjoy a relaxing day at Kovalam Beach, known for its pristineshores and clear waters. Explore the lighthouse and indulge in water sports activities. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Lighthouse Beach:
Located in Kovalam (Southern Kerala), the Lighthouse Beach is known for the 35 metres tall Vizhinjam Lighthouse, located on the top of the Kurumkal hillock. The lighthouse is entirely made of stones and coloured in red and white bands. Visitors love to reach the top of this tall structure by using a spiral staircase to click some memorable photographs.
Lighthouse beach is a perfect spot to enjoy water activities and sports, such as surfing, parasailing and paragliding. Travellers also like to play volleyball on the beach. The beach is also well known for its lush palm plantations and trees that dot the entire area. Easy accessibility, lip-smacking food and affordable lodging add to the charm of this place.

Padmanabhaswamy Temple:
One of the 108 Divya Desams, Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple is located in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala. Embellished in gold-plated covering, the temple is opened only to Hindu followers. Dedicated to Lord Padmanabha; one of the avatars of Lord Vishnu, the Padmanabhaswamy Temple is one of the principal centres of Vaishnava worship in the dharma of Vaishnavism. Built as a replica of the Adikesavaperumal Temple in Thiruvattar, the Padmanabhaswamy temple is well-preserved antiquity. Although the origin of this temple still remains a mystery, devotees believe it to have existed since the first day of the Kali Yuga, which was 5000 years ago.
Kuthira Malika Palace:
Built in the 1840s by the great Maharaja Swathi Thirunal, the Kuthira Malika Palace stands as an iconic monument that gives you a curious insight into the glorious history of Kerala. 'Kuthira Malika' literally translates to 'Mansion of horses', and it has been named so because of the 122 horses that adorn the many pillars that support the southern roof of this majestic structure. The main idea behind building this palace was to preserve and promote the many traditional art forms of India, mainly the south. Take a patient stroll along this palace with one of the local guides, and you will be enthralled by the mystical charm of this magnanimous palace. Right in the premises of this palace, you will also come across the infamous Kuthira Malika Museum which is indeed a haven for history buffs and those who appreciate the beauty of prehistoric antiquities.
Napier Museum:
Situated in the vibrant city of Thiruvananthapuram, the Napier Museum stands as a testament to art, culture, and natural history. Established in 1880 under the patronage of Francis Napier, the 10th Lord Napier, the museum is renowned for its Indo-Saracenic architecture, influenced by Indian, Chinese, Kerala, and Mughal styles. Despite lacking air conditioning, the museum's unique design allows for ample natural ventilation, providing visitors with a comfortable and immersive experience.
Day 7 :
Trivandrum

Depending on your departure time, you can visit the local markets for some shopping. Transfer to Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station for your departure.

The menus are pre-set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation.
In standard/Budget category of hotels, the meals preferences are veg meals unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are a mixture of veg and non-veg preferences.
Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.
📅 ITINERARY CHANGES:
For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In the event a guest misses any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on their part, they will not be entitled to claim a refund of the same.
The timings mentioned in the day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits en route, meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests, and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.

We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire Innova/Crysta/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day, etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case any of the sightseeing schedules are missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances.
