Explore the bustling streets of Jew Town and visit the Paradesi Synagogue. Spend the evening in the modern town of Ernakulam with a bit of shopping. Overnight stay in Cochin.
Jew Town:
Jew Town, a narrow street between Mattancherry Palace and the Synagogue, is a favourite haunt of antique hunters. Some of the most pristine and historically relevant artefacts of our times have been unearthed by our visitors here. While a huge bronze vessel catches your eye first, each of the shops here contains beautiful items with quirky and interesting stories. They are like fractions of history, waiting for the right person to come and finally claim them.
Paradesi Synagogue:
Enter the synagogue and the large main hall arrests your attention with display of rare antique objects that add to the grandeur of the place. The light falling through the large open windows make the sight of chandeliers and lamps more delightful. These glass chandeliers dangling from the ceiling belong to the 19th century and were imported from Belgium.
Day 2 :

Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls:
Several species of animals and birds can be spotted in this area, because of which the Cheeyappara waterfall is declared as an eco tourism destination. Also, there is no access to the waterfall and the only way is to view it from the road side and that's what every tourist does here. The place is so serene that it helps tourists to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. People come here with their family and friends to unwind by playing near the water-body, swimming and lazing around, enjoying the natural beauty of the place.
Tea Museum:
The Tata Tea Museum in the Nallathanni Estate tells the eventful story of Munnar; its transformation from an uninhabited stretch of forest land to a plantation town. The highlights of the museum include old machineries used for tea processing, photographs and some other curious displays that throw light on the efforts of some adventurous planters who dared to conquer the wild with minimal equipment and little resource.
