Day 1 :
Munnar

Arrive in Cochin and drive to Munnar, a picturesque hill station known for its tea plantations. En route, visit the Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Check into your hotel in Munnar and relax for a while. In the afternoon, visit the Tea Museum to learn about the history and process of tea production. In the evening, you have the option to visit the Blossom International Park and explore the local markets. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Cheeyappara:
The Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls are among the best trekking locations in Idukki district. Many people come across these waterfalls on the way to Munnar and it is slowly turning into a tourist hotbed. There is a dense growth of trees all around and several rare species of plants and animals can be seen in the vicinity. The Cheeyappara Waterfalls gush down in seven tiers and area truly spectacular sight to behold. Valara Waterfalls are known for the lush greenery surrounding it and is a lovely picnic location.
Tea Museum:
One can observe the history and growth of tea estates in the area. We get to watch the transition from the rudimentary tea roller to the modern fully automated tea factory. Various stages of tea processing can be seen, which includes the making of black tea. One can also see a sundial, placed on a granite block, which was made in 1913 by the Art Industrial School at Nazareth, Tamil Nadu. It has other attractions like the 'Pelton Wheel' used in the power generation plant in the 1920s, tea roller and a rail engine wheel of the Kundale Valley Light Railway.
Blossom International Park:
It’s a park set in one of the beautiful locales in the country. A lot of activities are offered here including boating, roller skating, cycling etc. And if you wish a calm visit, admire the trees and a wide variety of beautiful flowers in the park. The 16 acres of beautiful parkland is surely a worth visit spot in Munnar. The park is situated near the Pallivasal hydro-electric project. It is about 3 km away from Munnar town.

After breakfast, visit the Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Enjoy a short trek inside the park and witness the breath-taking views of the surrounding hills. Afternoon enjoy a stroll through the tea gardens and visit the Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Eravikulam National Park:
The national park is a protected area and is divided into three regions - the core area, the buffer area and the tourism area. Visitors are allowed only to the tourism area that is in Rajamala, the region lying beyond the road entry into Eravikulam. Eravikulam is also famous for the natural habitat of Nilgiri Tahr, the endangered mountain goat and this park is built with the aim of conserving them.Every twelve years, this place will be carpeted with blue… Yes, your guess is correct. It is one the place where you can witness the mass flowering of Neelakurinji flowers.
Nilgiri Tahr:
The Nilgiri tahr was formerly called Hemitragus hylocrius. Its generic name was changed to Nilgiritragus after the phylogenic research by Ropiquet and Hassanin in 2005. The Nilgiri tahr is a congener of the Himalayan tahr (Hemitragus jemlahicus), found in Kashmir and Bhutan and the Arabian tahr (Arabitragus jayakari), found in Oman and United Arab Emirates. The Nilgiri tahr is one of the few species of mountain Caprinae, and the only Tahr, which is adapted to a cold and wet tropical environment. The species is diurnal, but are most active grazing in the early morning and late afternoon.
Mattupetty Dam:
The lush green tea plantations and forests in and around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and host a large number of unique bird species. The District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC), Idukki provides boating facilities at Mattupetty Dam that are loved by all our visitors. The drive up the location itself is cherished by all who embark upon it, as the mist-covered valleys rising to meet you are a trulyawe-inspiring sight.
Kundala Lake:
While traversing the swaying uphill route to Top Station, a pit stop at beautiful Kundala Town can be a refreshing experience. The gigantic Kundala Tea Plantations, Kundala Lake, a golf course run by Tata Tea Ltd. and the Kundala Artificial Dam are some of the main attractions. It is the perfect spot to catch your breath and soak in some of the finest visuals in the Munnar region. The District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC), Idukki conducts a special Tea Valley Tour which covers Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala, Top Station and Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park).
Day 3 :
Munnar To Thekkady

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady, famous for its wildlife sanctuary and spice plantations. Check into your hotel and relax for a while. In the afternoon, take a boat ride on Periyar Lake in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Spot wildlife, including elephants, deer, and various bird species. Visit the spice plantations and learn about the various spices grown in the region. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Periyar Lake :
The Periyar Valley was under the reign of the Pandyas who ruled from Madurai until the 12th century. In 1895, the Mullaperiyar dam was constructed. The dam, built across the west-flowing River Periyar, stops the river to form a reservoir. It also resulted in the creation of an artificial lake, which enhanced the charm of the valley. The lake, in the centre of the sanctuary, is the nucleus of the reserve and the place where the elephants and the avifauna come to frolic, to drink water and to cool themselves with dips in the hot months. down to play. Spice Plantations:
As you take a walk along the streets of Kumily or the winding pathways among the plantations,the thing that strikes you first is the lingering aroma in the air. The scent may be of cloves, nutmeg, pepper, cinnamon or cardamom and sometimes a fragrance that combines the scents of two or more spices. The geographical and climatic peculiarities of Kumily such as the cool climate and its elevation from the sea level make it ideal for spice cultivation.
Day 4 :
Thekkady To Alleppey

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey. Check in to the hotel. After a short rest enjoy a boating through the backwaters (cost extra). Enjoy the serene surroundings as you sail through the backwaters, passing by lush paddy fields and coconut groves. Spend the evening in Alleppey beach. Overnight at Alleppey.
Day 5 :
Cochin
Allepy
After breakfast, drive to Cochin. Indulge in a bit of shopping before concluding your trip and drop off at Cochin airport for departure.

The menus are pre-set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation.
In standard/Budget category of hotels, the meals preferences are veg meals unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are a mixture of veg and non-veg preferences.
Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.
📅 ITINERARY CHANGES:
For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In the event a guest misses any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on their part, they will not be entitled to claim a refund of the same.
The timings mentioned in the day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits en route, meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests, and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.
🚌 TRANSPORT:
We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire Innova/Crysta/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day, etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case any of the sightseeing schedules are missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances.
Please note that AC will not work in Hills and no claims to this regard shall be entertained.
