Day 1 :
Arrival in Amritsar + Golden Temple & Wagah Border
Amritsar
Arrive in Amritsar by flight/train in the morning, where you’ll meet your driver and check in to your hotel. After freshening up, head to the Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib), the spiritual heart of Sikhism, to explore the Akal Takht and the peaceful temple grounds. Enjoy a traditional Langar meal at the temple's community kitchen. In the evening, drive to the Wagah Border (approximately 45 minutes away) to witness the impressive Beating Retreat Ceremony. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Amritsar.
Golden Temple:
The Golden Temple, also known as Harmandir Sahib, is located in Amritsar, Punjab, India. It is the holiest shrine of Sikhism and an iconic symbol of the Sikh faith. The temple was founded in 1581 by Guru Arjan, the fifth Sikh Guru. Its stunning structure is covered in gold, giving it the name "Golden Temple." The temple is surrounded by a large pool, known as the Amrit Sarovar (Holy Water), which is believed to have healing powers. Akal Takht:
The Akal Takht is one of the five Takhts (seats of authority) in Sikhism, located in Amritsar, Punjab, India, within the Golden Temple complex. It was founded in 1606 by Guru Hargobind, the sixth Sikh Guru, to represent the spiritual and temporal authority of the Sikh community. The Akal Takht is considered the highest seat of Sikh political and religious authority. The name "Akal Takht" means "Throne of the Timeless One," referring to God. It holds great significance as the place where important decisions related to Sikhism, including religious and political matters, are made.
Day 2 :
Gobindgarh Fort + Amritsar Sightseeing

In the morning after breakfast at your hotel, visit Gobindgarh Fort, an important historical site from the era of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Explore its interactive exhibits, including the Spirit of Punjab show, the Museum of Amritsar's History, and the Darbar Hall, which houses a replica of the Kohinoor diamond. In the afternoon, visit the solemn Jallianwala Bagh, a memorial for the 1919 massacre, and the Partition Museum, which highlights the history of India’s partition. In the evening, shop for authentic Punjabi goods at Hall Bazaar and enjoy a delicious Punjabi dinner at a local restaurant. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Amritsar.
Gobindgarh Fort:
Gobindgarh Fort is a historic fort located in Amritsar, Punjab, India. Built in the 18th century by the Bhangi Misl, a Sikh military faction, the fort was later expanded by Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the founder of the Sikh Empire. It was strategically important and played a key role in the defense of Amritsar. The fort is named after Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru. It was used by the British as a military base and remained under their control until India’s independence.
Jallianwala Bagh:
Jallianwala Bagh is a historic site in Amritsar, Punjab, India, that commemorates the tragic massacre of April 13, 1919. On this day, British troops, under the command of General Dyer, opened fire on a large crowd of unarmed Indian civilians who had gathered at the park to protest against repressive colonial laws. The brutal attack resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people and left many more wounded, sparking widespread outrage and contributing significantly to the Indian independence movement. Today, Jallianwala Bagh is a solemn memorial, with a park, a memorial building, and a museum dedicated to the victims of the massacre.
Day 3 :
Amritsar to Departure

On the final day, visit the Durgiana Temple, a Hindu temple with similar architecture to the Golden Temple. Afterward, enjoy a hearty Punjabi breakfast. In the afternoon, check out from your hotel and proceed to the Amritsar airport/train station for your onward journey.
Durgiana Temple:
Durgiana Temple is a prominent Hindu temple located in Amritsar, Punjab, India. Dedicated to Goddess Durga, the temple is often referred to as the "Silver Temple" due to its striking similarity to the Golden Temple and its ornate silver-plated doors. It is an important religious and cultural site for Hindus in the region.The temple complex is believed to have been originally established in the 16th century, though it has undergone several renovations over time.

🍽️ MEALS:
The menus are pre-set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation.
In standard/Budget category of hotels, the meals preferences are veg meals unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are a mixture of veg and non-veg preferences.
Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.
📅 ITINERARY CHANGES:
For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In the event a guest misses any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on their part, they will not be entitled to claim a refund of the same.
The timings mentioned in the day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits en route, meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests, and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.
🚌 TRANSPORT:
We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire Innova/Crysta/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day, etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case any of the sightseeing schedules are missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances.
