Day 1 :
Arrival in Bengaluru + Bangalore Fort

Arrive in Bengaluru by flight or train in the morning and check in to your hotel. After settling in, head out to explore the historic Bangalore Fort, built by Kempegowda and later expanded by Tipu Sultan. Continue your visit to Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace and enjoy the beauty of Lalbagh Botanical Garden. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll through Cubbon Park and stop for a photo opportunity at Vidhana Soudha. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Bengaluru.
Bangalore Fort:
Bangalore Fort, originally built in 1537 by Kempe Gowda, the founder of Bangalore, was initially a mud fort and later rebuilt in stone by Tippu Sultan in the 18th century. Located in the heart of Bangalore, it served as a military stronghold and played a significant role during various battles. Today, the fort stands as a historic monument, featuring remnants of its grand architecture, including a few structures like the Delhi Gate.
Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace:
Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, located in Bangalore, was built in 1791 by Tipu Sultan, the ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore. In the evening, relax at your hotel or explore the local market. Stay overnight in Chitradurga.
Chitradurga Fort:
Chitradurga Fort, located in the town of Chitradurga in Karnataka, is a historic hill fort built in the 17th century by the Nayaka rulers. Known for its impressive architecture, the fort features massive walls, secret passageways, and numerous temples, including the famous Hidimbeshwar Temple. The fort is surrounded by rocky hills, making it strategically important. It is also famous for its role in the resistance against the Mughal and British forces, particularly during the siege led by the Maratha ruler, M. Vijayanagar.
Day 3 :
Chitradurga – Bidar (Bidar Fort)

In the evening, savor some local cuisine and relax at your hotel. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Bidar.
Bidar Fort:
Bidar Fort, located in Bidar, Karnataka, is a historical fort known for its impressive architecture and strategic significance. Built in the 15th century by Ala-ud-Daula, it was later expanded by the Bahmani Sultans and the Adil Shahi dynasty. The fort features massive walls, multiple gates, watchtowers, and a variety of structures, including the Rangin Mahal (Palace), which is adorned with intricate decorations. Bidar Fort is also home to the grand Solah Kambi Mosque and the historic Barid Shahi tombs.
Bahmani Tombs:
The Bahmani Tombs, located near Bidar in Karnataka, are the burial sites of the rulers of the Bahmani Sultanate, which reigned from the 14th to the 16th centuries. These tombs are an excellent example of Indo-Islamic architecture, with large domes, intricate carvings, and detailed masonry. Bidar – Gulbarga (Gulbarga Fort)

Later, visit the Sharana Basaveshwara Temple, an important pilgrimage site. Enjoy the evening exploring the town and return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Gulbarga.
Gulbarga Fort:
Gulbarga Fort, located in the city of Gulbarga (now Kalaburagi) in Karnataka, was built in the 14th century by the Bahmani Sultanate. The fort is known for its imposing structure, featuring massive walls, bastions, and an array of gates. It houses several historic structures, including mosques, temples, and a large central palace. The fort also contains the grand Jama Masjid, which was constructed during the reign of Sultan Muhammad Shah.
Sharana Basaveshwara Temple:
Sharana Basaveshwara Temple, located in the town of Adavani near Koppal in Karnataka, is dedicated to the 12th-century saint and social reformer, Sharana Basaveshwara. A prominent figure in the Veerashaiva or Lingayat tradition, Sharana Basaveshwara is known for his contributions to the Bhakti movement and his teachings on devotion to Lord Shiva. The temple is a serene place of worship and features intricate carvings and architecture.
Day 6 :
Departure from Gulbarga

On your final day, enjoy some free time in the morning for last-minute sightseeing or relaxation. In the afternoon, check out from your hotel and depart for your onward journey via train or flight, marking the end of your historical and cultural tour.

🍽️ MEALS:
The menus are pre-set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation.
In standard/Budget category of hotels, the meals preferences are veg meals unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are a mixture of veg and non-veg preferences.
Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.
📅 ITINERARY CHANGES:
For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In the event a guest misses any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on their part, they will not be entitled to claim a refund of the same.
The timings mentioned in the day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits en route, meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests, and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.
🚌 TRANSPORT:
We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire Innova/Crysta/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day, etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case any of the sightseeing schedules are missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances.
Please note that AC will not work in Hills and no claims to this regard shall be entertained.
