Starting from Pune, you'll proceed to Bijapur, also known as Vijayapura, where you'll visit the iconic Gol Gumbaz, the mausoleum of Mohammed Adil Shah. The next day, explore Bijapur's local sightseeing attractions, including the 16th-century cannon, Malik-e-Maidan, and the beautiful mosque and tomb, Ibrahim Rouza, before heading to Hosapete.
From Hosapete, take a full-day excursion to Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you'll marvel at the stunning Virupaksha Temple, Vitthala Temple, Stone Chariot, and other attractions. In the evening, enjoy the breathtaking Sound and Light Show at Tungbhadra Dam garden. The following day, proceed to Badami, visiting the ancient stone temples at Aihole and Pattadakal, another UNESCO World Heritage site, along the way.
In Badami, explore the fascinating Badami Caves and the Bhutanatha Group of Temples, showcasing some of the earliest known examples of Hindu temples in the Deccan region. After arrival at Pune Airport/Railway Station we’ll proceed to Bijapur or Vijayapura city, which is well known for its historical monuments, diverse cultures. On arrival, Check into the hotel, Visit Gol Gumbaz, the mausoleum of the king Mohammed Adil Shah, Adil Shah Dynasty. The name is based on "Gol Gumbadh" derived from "Gola Gummata" meaning "circular dome". Overnight stay at Bijapur. (Dinner)
Gol Gumbaz:
Gol Gumbaz is the most well-known monument in Vijayapura. It is the mausoleum of Mohammed Adil Shah (reigned 1627–1657). It is the second biggest dome ever erected, second only to St Peter's Basilica in Rome in size. The middle chamber, where every sound is repeated seven times, is a unique attraction in this monument.

Visit The Malik-e-Maidan-an intricately carved 16th-century cannon—is considered one of the largest medieval guns ever made. Measuring 14 feet long and weighing 55 tons, the cannon wreaked havoc at the Battle of Talikota in 1565 and is now located in Bijapur Fort. Visit Ibrahim Rouza, it is one of the splendid mosque and tomb of Bijapur, it is known for its graceful arches, halls, intricate designs with a large crowning onion dome. After sightseeing we will proceed to Hosapete . Hosapete is a largest city and district headquarters of the Vijayanagara district in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is located on the banks of the Tungabhadra River. On arrival check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Hosapete. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Malik-e-Maidan-an:
The Malik-e-Maidan—an intricately carved 16th-century cannon—is considered one of the largest medieval guns ever made. Measuring 14 feet long and weighing 55 tons, the cannon wreaked havoc at the Battle of Talikota in 1565 and is now located in Bijapur Fort.
Ibrahim Rouza:
The Ibrahim Rouza is rated as on one of the most beautifully proportioned Islamic monuments in India and an inspiration for the Taj Mahal. The mosque is also a beautiful edifice with five grand arches, ornamented by carved medallions and hanging stone chains.
Today’s Morning, After Breakfast we will proceed for a full day excursion to Hampi (UNESCO World Heritage Site), it is also the “World’s Largest Open-air Museum”. We will see Virupaksha Temple, Vitthala Temple and the Stone Chariot followed by a visit to the underground Shiva Temple, Royal centre, Queen’s Bath & Lotus Mahal and the Elephant Stables. Later in the evening enjoy Sound and Light Show at Tungbhadra Dam garden, which is a visual treat to watch when illuminated with rainbow colours at night. Overnight stay at Hosapete. Virupaksha Temple
Virupaksha Temple is the 7th century Shiva temple in Hampi, Central Karnataka. Hampi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lord Virupaksha, also referred to as Pampapathi is the main deity in Virupaksha Temple. Virupaksha Temple complex also houses shrines of Bhuvaneshwari and Vidyaranya.

Lotus Mahal
Lotus Mahal or Chitrangini Mahal is an important secular structure in Hampi, India. The Lotus Mahal is an example of Vijayanagara style of architecture and is a two storied structure built in Rubble masonry and finely plastered. The structure was used as residue place for royal family of the Vijayanagara Empire.

The Bhutanatha temples are a group of Hindu temples in Badami, Karnataka, India that date back to the 7th to 12th centuries. The temples are dedicated to the god of souls, spirits, and ghosts, in his form as Bhutanatha. The complex includes two main groups of temples: the East Bhutanatha group and the North Bhutanatha group.
