Pandoh Dam :
The Pandoh Dam is an embankment dam on the beas river in mandi daistrict of Himachal Pradesh,India.Under the beas project,the dam was completed in 1977 and its primary purpose is hydroelectric power generation.Part of run-of-the-river power scheme,it diverts the water of the Beas to the Southwest through a38 km Long system of tunnel and channels.The water is used for power generation at the Dehar Power House before being discharged into the Sultej River,connecting both rivers.The power house has an installed capacity of 990 MW.The system diverts 256 cumecs of beas waters to the Saltej River.The Project was completed in 1977.
Hanogi Mata Temple:
At a distance of 41 km from Kullu, 30 km from Mandi and 80 km from Manali, Hanogi Mata Temple is a well known religious centre of Kullu that lies on the Mandi-Manali National Highway 3.
The temple is dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Hango Mata. The location of this temple is quite picturesque as it is positioned on the top of a small peak; green mountains serve as a backdrop for the temple and a stream flowing below makes this temple a stunning attraction.

The Hadimba Temple:
Hidimba Devi Temple, locally known as Dhungari Temple, also known variously as the Hadimba Temple, is located in Manāli, a hill station in the State of Himāchal Pradesh in north India. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mahābhārata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest called Dhungiri Van Vihar at the foot of the Himālayas. The sanctuary is built over a huge rock jutting out of the ground which was worshiped as an image of the deity. The structure was built in 1553 by Maharaja Bahadur Singh.The Hidimba Devi temple is 24 meters tall.

Jogini Waterfall is located in the beautiful Valley of Manali, about 3 kilometres away from the bustling town and around 2 kilometres away from the famous Vashisht Temple. What makes it a popular tourist spot is the trek from Vashisht Temple, through pine trees and orchards, to the mesmerising Jogini Waterfalls cascading from a height of 160 feet.
The trekkers are enchanted as they cross several smaller streams with a dazzling view of River Beas and the snow-dusted peaks of Rohtang. It takes about 3 hours to climb to the Jogini Waterfall, so make sure to carry a camera to capture the mind stirring beauty of the location. If you want to take a pit stop, there are restaurants on the route serving local snacks with a piping hot cup of Chai.
Vashist Temple:
Vashisht is a village located 3 km from Manali across the River Beas. This village is famous for its sulphurous hot water springs and sanctified by three main temples dedicated to Lord Vashisht, Lord Shiva and Lord Rama built just next to the springs. The water from this spring is believed to have great healing powers, which can cure many skin diseases, infections and pains. There are separate baths for men and women. This place has a refreshing atmosphere that allows one to indulge in a holy bath while seeking blessing from the presiding deity of the village.
The road to the village from Manali is bordered by shops and restaurants selling food, clothing, and tourist goods. Beyond the hot springs are local houses and a school. Above the main part of the village are many local houses and apple orchards.

Atal Tunnel:
Atal Tunnel (also known as Rohtang Tunnel),named after former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee is a highway tunnel built under the Rohtang Pass in the eastern Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas on the National Highway 3 in Himachal Pradesh, India.At a length of 9.02 km, it is the highest highway single-tube tunnel above 10,000 feet (3,048 m) in the world. With the existing Atal Tunnel and after the completion of under-construction Shinku La Tunnel, which is targeted to be completed by 2025, the new Leh-Manali Highway via Nimmu–Padum–Darcha road will become all-weather road.
The proposal for the construction of a tunnel across Rohtang Pass was first conceived in 1942 by Dr. John Bicknell Auden, Geological Survey of India (GSI) who at that time visited this pass intending to divert the water of Chandra river to Beas.When Atal Bihari Vajpayee became the Prime Minister, locals suggested his childhood friend Arjun Gopal, To visit him and to talk about Rohtang Tunnel. Gopal and two companions, Chhering Dorje and Abhay Chand, moved to Delhi. After a year of discussions, Vajpayee went to Lahaul in June 2000 and declared that the Rohtang Tunnel would be constructed. Rites conducted a feasibility study.
Solang Valley:
Solang Valley derives its name from a combination of the words Solang (Nearby village) and Nallah (water stream). It is a side valley at the top of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India 14 km northwest of the resort town Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass, and is known for its summer and winter sports conditions. The sports most commonly offered are parachuting, paragliding, skating, and zorbing.
The majestic Solang Valley is renowned for its vast slopes of greenery, contributing to its status as a favorite ski resort. The sprawling expanse of lush lawns in the valley has earned it a reputation as a popular destination for skiing enthusiasts. The resort is also known for its world-class ski school and family activities. The village has many shops, including a candy store, which has been featured on Food Network shows. [citation needed] A few ski agencies offering courses and equipment reside here and operate only during winter.
Snow melts during the summer months starting in May and skiing is then replaced by zorbing (a giant ball with room for 2 people which is rolled down a 200-metre hill), paragliding, parachuting, and horse riding.
Kothi Village:
At a distance of 13.5 km from Manali Bus Stand, 8 km from Gulaba Village, The Kothi Village is located along the route to Rohtang Pass from Manali on Leh - Manali Highway. Kothi is situated at the foothills of Rohtang pass and lies at an altitude of 2500 m. This splendid village offers a magnificent view of snow capped mountains and glaciers and of the Beas River that flows through a very deep and narrow gorge at this point.
Kothi village is one of the most scenic places to be visited in Manali. The beautiful valley view is worth watching. A number of movies have been shot at this location. Kothi is an ideal site for nature lovers, poets and painters. Kothi is also known as Koshtampi and has a temple of Goddess Shuwang Chandika, a local deity. Kothi used to be a camping site when Rohtang pass had to be climbed on foot. In recent times, the place can be accessed through jeep, bus and pony rides.
Though the village can be visited throughout the year, the most appropriate time to visit the place is from May to October. It also has a comfortable staying option in the beautiful PWD Rest House, which lies in the middle of a picture-perfect surrounding of the snow-capped peaks and glaciers.

Parvati Valley:
Parvati Valley is situated in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. From the confluence of the Parvati River with the River Beas, the Parvati Valley runs eastwards, through a steep-sided valley from the town of Bhuntar, in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh in Northern India.
The precipitous valley road climbs past a side valley leading to the village of Malana near the famous tourist spot Kasol. From here, the road passes through the Sikh and Hindu pilgrimage town of Manikaran and terminates at Pulga, where the construction of the Parvati Hydel Project, a hydroelectric dam, dominates the landscape. From Pulga, the footpath climbs to a temple and small dhaba at Rudra-Nag waterfall, apparently after its resemblance of a water snake. Beyond Rudra-Nag waterfall, the trail ascends further through thick pine forests to the spiritual site of Kheerganga where Shiva is said to have meditated for 3000 years. The hot springs at Kheerganga are extremely important for Hindu and Sikh pilgrims as well as many others who believe the waters have sacred healing properties.
Manikaran Sahib Gurdwara:
