On your arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station, you will be driven to Puri as part of your Puri tour package. On your way to Puri, you can enjoy some sightseeing with strategic stops at the Dhauli Peace Pagoda, Heera 64 Yogini Temple and Pipli, a village famed for its applique work. Also make a stop at the Sakhigopal temple and the Raghurajpur painting village. On reaching Puri, check into a hotel and relax for a while. Later, you can check out the Beach Market of Puri before returning to the hotel for a night of comfortable stay.

Heera 64 Yogini Temple and Pipli:

The legend behind the temple, according to local priests, is that the Goddess Durga took the form of 64 demi-goddesses to defeat a demon. After the fight the 64 goddesses, equated with yoginis, asked Durga to commemorate them in the form of a temple structure. A 64 yogini temple is a type of ancient Hindu temple, dedicated to the worship of the yoginis or the manifestations of the mother goddess in Hindu mythology. The temple gets its name from the 64 carved stone or black basalt figures of the yoginis arranged in a circular pattern around the main shrine.

Today, you get to enjoy a day spent traversing the many attractions of Puri. Start from being part of the morning aarti at the Lord Jagannath Temple of Puri, followed by a leisurely stroll on the Grand Road. Also, visit Gundicha Temple, before having a delicious breakfast. Next, on the itinerary is a visit to Chilka Lake, where you get to see dolphins and more. Make a short stop at the Alarnath Temple, before returning to the hotel for the night.

Lord Jagannath Temple:

Located in the sacred town of Puri, the Jagannath Temple or the pride of India was built in the 11th century by King Indradyumna. This glorious temple is the abode of Lord Jagannath who is a form of Lord Vishnu. It is the most revered pilgrimage site for Hindus and is included in the pious Char Dham Yatra with Badrinath, Dwarka and Rameshwaram. Apart from the main shrine that rises high, many minor temples within the complex will make you feel like you have entered God's home itself.

After a delicious breakfast, it is time to check out of the hotel, and leave for a short sightseeing tour. Pay a visit to the Black Pagoda at Konark, Ramchandi Temple and Chandrabhaga Beach. After wrapping up the tour, it is time to for your drop-off at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station.

Chandrabhaga Beach, Konark:

Situated 3 kms east of Sun Temple in Konark in Orissa where the Chandrabhaga River joins the sea, Chandrabhaga Beach is one of the most beautiful and pollution free beaches of the country. Owing to its immaculately clean shores and crystal clear waters, the beach has been awarded with the Blue Flag Certification by the Foundation of Environmental Education (FEE)- which is a tag given to environmental friendly beaches which meet their stringent standards. Lined with tall trees and vast expanse of golden sands, the beach holds cultural and historical importance as well. Several cultural festivals and religious fairs are held here frequently which attract a lot of pilgrims and devotees to the beach.

🍽️ MEALS:

The menus are pre-set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation.
In standard/Budget category of hotels, the meals preferences are veg meals unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are a mixture of veg and non-veg preferences.
Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.

📅 ITINERARY CHANGES:

For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In the event a guest misses any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on their part, they will not be entitled to claim a refund of the same.
The timings mentioned in the day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits en route, meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests, and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.

🚌 TRANSPORT:

We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire Innova/Crysta/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day, etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case any of the sightseeing schedules are missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances.
Please note that AC will not work in Hills and no claims to this regard shall be entertained.
